Emergency Transport
Dial 911 and an available paramedic is dispatched when necessary to back up your local volunteer ambulance. If necessary additional EMTs are dispatched to assist or in place of the local volunteers.
Scheduled
Non-Emergency Stretcher Transport
A scheduled medical transport can provide stretcher transport for non-emergency situations. Such cases are doctor’s visits, inter-hospital transfers, returning home from the hospital. Other special events such as a wedding or funeral can be scheduled if crews are available.
